I happened to enjoy the first Jack Reacharound movie (never read the book). Of course it helps that I like Tom Cruise.

I didn't realize there was even a sequel coming out, but it's releasing this October.

I've read all of the series. This one is especially good.

While not a HUGE fan of Cruise he does play these types of roles very good I liked the first one, although I waited until it hit DVD odds I will wait for this one to hit as well. Too many other movies this fall coming out that I'm looking forward too.

I guess those of us who didn't read the books didn't have the prejudice of what Reacher should be physically like to disturb us. The first movie was okay until they went to the Lethal Weapon fight in the rain to end it. I am likely to watch Reacher II opening week unless something really big opens that week.

I understand that in the books he's supposed to be much taller then Cruise is.

First one was better much better than expected, looking forward to this one.

Cruise gets a lot of hate, but he's one of the top 10 action/sci-fi film guys of the last 30 years.

Loved the books. But Cruise as Reacher was too farfetched for me to bother with the movie.

I have read all the Reacher books, and to me Cruise is a sorry depiction. His completely different physical stature bothered me throughout the movie, because the Reacher character is so physically imposing. The perfect actor, IMO, would have been Ray Stevenson. He was born to play Reacher!
