I will absolutely see it. The Manhattan Project changed the world, and that is not an exaggeration.

As a sidenote, Oppenheimer, the man, is famous for his hat (and chain-smoking). In the hat trade, there is a style informally called the "Oppenheimer." Most people don't know how it got its name.

I already have tickets for a 70MM film showtime in Kansas City, which is a 2.5 hour drive for me. This will only be the third movie I've seen in a theatre since Covid.

Yes, absolutely! I am hoping to catch it on either 70 mm or IMAX. But I am out of town on the weekend it opens, so I ill have to wait until later that week or the next weekend to see it.
