Been watching Prey, not a movie, but a 2 season, 6 episode total, British series. It's well done. The 1st season is akin to The Fugitive (no spoilers, this much is in the series description)... murder, main character on the run, while trying to solve the crime. S2 is more like Taken with Liam Neeson.
Great acting & like real life, some characters are sleazy & corrupt, some crazy, some inept, some pathetic, some too good for their own good. Worth the watch if you need a day off to binge watch. Overall, 4* out of 5.
Note: Strong Manchester accents & fast paced talking, so if you'll find that hard to follow, make sure you get a DVD with subtitling.
Flatliners: nearly fell asleep many times (i think i actually did...but i wouldnt know for sure because i was asleep) in this dull, smoke and mirrors psychological "thriller". Never Again.
Kingsman: exciting, but too strange for my blood. Weird, wacked out modern-spaghetti-western style comedy/action flick. Ok at best. Not really a huge fan.
I'm on Ep 2 of S2. It isn't as good as S1, but since it has the same characters, I thought I'd give it a go. I also was hoping the plot might pick up. We'll see.
Took a break from horror movies and watched this wildly fascinating documentary about the Russian doping scandal. Watched it after listening to Joe Rogan's podcast where he interviewed Bryan Fogel. I highly recommend this film.
Train to Busan (2016). Watched it out of boredom and was pleasantly surprised. One of the best movies I've seen this year.
I agree. This was a fantastic zombie movie. If you haven't seen it yet, I recommend, It Paints the Sand Red. Another great zombie film that is not your typical zombie film.
