Just how many kids did ma and pa have? Meals were an adventure in their movies All ma had to say was come and get it.Percy kilbride and Marjorie main were hilarious pa being lazy and ma more raucous. The first seven movies along with the egg and i are on dvd universals franchise collection
Oh yeah, I remember one scene where Pa Kettle did some crazy math on a chalkboard and as ridiculous as it seemed, he made it come out right. Those are some funny old movies.
Thanks for the memories.
They were my mom and my mom in laws favorite and I forgot all about it till this thread. I ordered VOL 1 of the set,(from AMAZON) which has The Egg and I, (I believe their first movie appearance?)
Mom in Law is in a nursing home and I just made arrangements with the staff to show them during their weekly Saturday movie nite.
I think many seniors will have a good time.

If you check one of my earlier posts you will find the "new math" video.
