Just how many kids did ma and pa have? Meals were an adventure in their movies All ma had to say was come and get it.Percy kilbride and Marjorie main were hilarious pa being lazy and ma more raucous. The first seven movies along with the egg and i are on dvd universals franchise collection

Oh yeah, I remember one scene where Pa Kettle did some crazy math on a chalkboard and as ridiculous as it seemed, he made it come out right. Those are some funny old movies.

Thanks for the memories.
They were my mom and my mom in laws favorite and I forgot all about it till this thread. I ordered VOL 1 of the set,(from AMAZON) which has The Egg and I, (I believe their first movie appearance?)
Mom in Law is in a nursing home and I just made arrangements with the staff to show them during their weekly Saturday movie nite.
I think many seniors will have a good time.

Good question?... I think it was 10 or more...I need to check to be sure.

You are welcome. I work in nursing and rehabilatation; I can attest to the joy and memories watching an older flick brings back to all of us..... . Hope you enjoy the DVD's when they arrive.
