I agree about comedy being more difficult. People don't give it enough respect.

He plays pretty casually, and isn't on very often. Kinda a bummer, but I will update next time I see him.

Thought he was pretty good in Swingers but everything else has been ok to bad. Although he was very funny in Old School too.

Vince is a good actor. He conveys presence without being over the top. Seems like the regular guy one strikes up a conversation with at a bar during happy hour.

I first saw him in "Clay Pigeons" and he was a great psycho serial killer. I've since seen him in a lot of comedies and I like him - but nothing comes close to his Clay Pigeons role, that was a great character and I thought he was brilliant in it (the way he laughed, for example).

He's one of those on my avoid list. I've tried several films he's in, including "Clay Pigeons", and I simply do not like him, either funny or serious. I'd lump him in with the histrionic Sean Penn, blah Liev Schreiber, mugging Matt Damon, and totally unbearables Will Ferrell, Will Smith, Adam Sandler, Steve Carrell, Daniel Craig (who makes Roger Moore look better and who looks like one of those dried-apple people), AND all of those slobby "comics" who star in junk movies, including Kevin what's-his-name with the talking zoo animals.

Vaughn massacred "Psycho", for one thing. What an insult to Hitchcock's film! He's simply a dud, but that's just my response to him.

After sampling bits of their films, I know to stay away.

I don't think he's either one. Can't stand the guy.

He was awesome in Swingers. He was pretty good in Jurassic Park II. I liked him a lot in Clay Pigeons as Spikett mentioned. His performance was under rated due to how the movie was received by the lame critics. He was also good in Return to Paradise.

IMHO, he seems to be much better in unfunny roles with the exception of Swingers.

I tried liking him in Made but he was not funny, he was actually very annoying. Perhaps it was the tone of the movie or that role? Anyhow, I never really thought he is/was a funny guy, he just appeared in a lot of funny movies and didn't really seem funny even then. He plays the same guy in every so-called funny movie anyhow.
