The recent movies w/ Daniel Craig are more true to the character as in the books. In the books he made the occasional sly remark, but was mostly serious.

The 70s and 80s movies were turned into circuses compared to what Ian Fleming wrote in the books.

Most favorite - Casino Royale (w/ Daniel Craig)

Least favorite - Die Another Day, with Moonraker a close 2nd to that

Best Bond - Connery

Worst - very hard to say, but I will say Lazenby as he only did the one and was just too flamboyant.
