Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil did that. It wasn't in the book and certainly added nothing to the movie.

Default I'm sure that I can add a few to the list.

The Host
Ultraviolet
The Tingler
Eight Below
Nim's Island
Sahara (1943)
Never Cry Wolf
A Bridge Too Far
Lilies of the Field
Fantastic Voyage
The White Buffalo
Lawrence of Arabia
Come to the Stable
The Angry Red Planet
All the President's Men
The NeverEnding Story
Robinson Crusoe on Mars
John Carpenter's The Thing
Dragonfly ~ unless a message from his dead wife counts
E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial ~ unless you count the kiss when Elliott was under E.T.'s influence

Many war movies have absolutely no opportunity for a love story. Also, many films aimed at children generally leave out romance.
