There's a great scene in Patton where after he tells Bradley, "get me 300,000 gallons of gasoline and I'll go all the way to Berlin", a tank column is driving along at night and one tank starts bucking and stalling. There's a radio call to the effect that several tanks are out of gas and there's a "Kraut column straight ahead". The tank commander just says, "yeah, I know", racks a round in his .50 cal machine gun and starts firing. Awesome.
In "Time After Time" when Mary Steenburgen gets in the time machine to go with Welles.
In "L. A. Story" when they're all ordering oddball coffees.
In "Chinatown" when Nicholson is in the country records files and wants to rip a page out of the record books. He lays a straight edge on the page and then sneezes loudly as he tears it out. I've since done that, not in the county clerk's office though!
In "Das Boot" when the crew goes on the German ship in the Spanish harbor and the ship's officers are all in formal dress and the submarine crew look like they've been shipwrecked for a month. The commercial vessel's captain mistakes one of the sub officers for the sub captain.
