"Isn't It Time" is also my favorite Babys song and that song brings me back alot of great memories of high school, you don't come across that song on the radio all that often unfortunately.
John Waite did have some great solo hits, I've always liked "Change", don't know why it wasn't a bigger hit than it was, "Missing You" is a good song too and I'm glad the song went #1 in 1984
John Waite and former Journey members Jonathan Cain and Neil Schon formed the nucleus of Bad English.
I have forgotten all about them forming Bad English, I really liked their hit song "When I See You Smile" which was definitely deserving of being a huge hit.
Neal Schon is one of my all time favorite guitar players and he sure knows how to rock.
Nice mopac. The Babys were a great band. The "Anthology" album is in my all time top 10. It's still in my regular rotation. Don't know why they never hit it big. Agreed, very under rated.
What is really sad is that the Babys were fairly big back in the late 1970s/early 1980s and shortly afterwards people have forgotten all about them, I also have the "Anthology" album.
Love the Baby's ! Love John Waite's voice. My favorite album ( eeek album !! ) is Head First.
Rare...wasn't into them...but I have a silly story.
There was a guy at work that we used to marvel at the end of the work day.
He was a drinking buddy, but he had a peculiarity about him.
Most people who get into their car opens the door, walks up, puts their right leg in then dumps their butt into the seat...not this guy. He always goes in head first, kinda like crawling into bed. Sober or otherwise...We used to always kid him as he gets into his car..."Going Heeeeaad Firrrrrrst!!!!"
He would always turn his head, give us "the look", then proceed into his ride. Too funny!
