I really hate that this guy died so young. Snot was a really cool guy, didn't deserve to die in a hit and run. Conspiracy theorist out there still claim to this day he was killed for the message in some of his songs but in reality, it was probably just an idiot drunk driver. Here's Snot with "Absent"

Here's a little more Clutch for anyone who may have acquired a taste for them after my last post. Personally, I think they are awesome.

YouTube - Clutch - "Escape From the Prison Planet"

Here's a little Dimmu Borgir, str8 from the pits of hell! Actually, from Europe. But damn if dude doesn't want to be Satan like really bad. But that's cool, the band still rocks!

YouTube - Dimmu Borgir - Black Metal

And last but not least, here's another from my favorite metal freaks, Meshuggah! Can't say it's my favorite because I like so many of thier songs. So sit back, relax, and listen to another masterpiece from one of the kings of metal.

the wilderness is shining
the north prepares for winter,
'cause it will be cruel

The birds calling gether
they are going to leave us

...lyrics...

Things crawl in the darkness
That imagination spins
Needles at your nerve ends
Crawl like spiders on your skin

Pounding in your temples
And a surge of adrenaline
Every muscle tense to fence the enemy within

I'm not giving in to security under pressure
I'm not missing out on the promise of adventure
I'm not giving up on implausible dreams
Experience to extremes
Experience to extremes

Suspicious-looking stranger
Flashes you a dangerous grin
Shadows across your window
Was it only trees in the wind?

Every breath a static charge
A tongue that tastes like tin
Steely-eyed outside to hide the enemy within...

....to You ... is it movement or is it action?
It is contact or just reaction?
and You... revolution or just resistance?
Is it living, or just existence?

....i'm not giving up on implausible dreams
Experience to extremes

this next one i dedicate in the name of love

Yngwie Malmsteen - Forever One

...lyrics...

Now it's so clear

what i always feared
to walk that lonely road without You

and thou i'm afraid
it's never too late
now's the time to make our dreams come true

Forever One
Eternal flame keeps burning on and on
....i hear the angels calling out Your name

i felt so low as the days turned cold
i know our love will conquer all

You walked into my life
i was born again

now's the time to make our dreams come true
Forever One

....i hear the angels calling out Your name

...shyangel...

p.s. i was told to wait 24 hrs before giving any points

REALLY get outta you... we here in metal know what its about...

Right now the lower floors are blaring rap & metal because of the
pressure on us freshman... at least on the boys side hahahahaha!

This floor is mainly foreign exchange students and somehow i'm
on this floor so its very studious... makes it easier to keep...yikes!
I'm having a convo right here!

These guys played on my favorite local music show a couple of weeks back. As yet they're unsigned but I thought you folks might like.

I definetly liked both of these music videos as i always dig on the 80's jams .

Also nothing wrong about being a romantic and liking metal as there are tons of metal ballads produced over the years and so keep on jamming Shyangel .

I like this metal ballad music video as it's a tribute to the first woman aviator Emelia Earhart by the group Slaughter.
