This would be the first Metal song I liked, I don't know if it's the first I heard...I do have vague memories of Bon Scott being the lead singer of ACDC but I don't know whether it was contemporary or just mixed in with other music I have listened to over the years. I also have vague memories of KISS but again it's not as solid a memory as this song. I didn't really get into music until the early/mid 80s because that was when I entered my teens.

The new SLAYER! album is amazing! I was disappointed with Christ Illusion, but World Painted Blood puts them right back on track! Anyone else diggin the new Slayer?
