I just keep thinking of these two:

YouTube - Buffalo Springfield - For What It's Worth (Monterey 1967)

^^^Hey, look who introduced them! One of the Monkees. Peter Torke.

Yeah, this is a little cheesy. But a great song nonetheless! And man can he sing. From the concept album, Paradise Theater.

On Sunday October 25th, I tuned into one of my favourite music radio programs called "Cafe L.A." The program features - as host Tom Schnabel often repeats - "music from around the block, and around the world."

This Sunday I was mezmerized and entranced by the voice of a young maiden named Yasmin Levy. Her music is an ode to her Jewish/Ladino roots. The songs are deeply moving and emotive. I'd never heard anything like it!

For a taste of her style, take a listen to her song "Me Voy" on youtube. Even though she sings in Spanish you will no doubt be moved by her spell binding style.

<bushed after a very busy day... grateful for the peace
and quiet of the yacht ... retire to bed early... send
good vibes and good night wishes to all>

<hold onto gift from Mr. MMC... sink into warm covers
...remember how it felt to have my heart in my throat,
gripping the seat... and loving that we could crash at
any moment... laughing out loud to myself ... the
thrill--the danger--was exquisite!!! get little thrill
chills just thinking about it >

Some walk by night
some fly by day
nothing could change you
set and show the way
charming and bright
laughing and gay
I'm just a stranger
love the blues and the grays
There is the sun and moon
facing their own sweet tune
watch them when dawn is due
sharing one's fate
some walk by night
and some will fly by day
something is sweeter
when you meet along the way
So come walk the night
come fly by day
something is sweeter
cause we met on the way
We'll walk the night , yeah ,
we'll fly by day
moonlighting strangers
who just met on the way
who just met on the way
who just met on the waaaayyyyyyy........

Traveling at a magic speed....

Taking a break, after a short flight, and looking for the right refreshments to help us on our journey, we find ourselves in a great hall with many books and writings. Surely this hall of higher learning is on a list of its own somewhere.

"Look, Rare, " I whisper.

"Did you know there were so many lists of 'Seven Wonders'? I didn't." There are lists of Man-Made Seven Wonders; Ancient, Medieval, Modern Seven Wonders; Seven Wonders of Canada; Seven Wonders of the Ukraine and even one from a USA Today Poll among others. All are lists of 7-10 of the Greatest Wonders of different categories."
::eyes wide as grins on a pumpkin... shaking head with all these possibilities...

answering whisper... did nay know MSR-San.. but now feel like
there a seven zillion wonders... grinning...
