How are the prices of homes in conway?
I looked there this winter and the prices were out of site, way to high for what you get.
I have been told that this summer has bought things more in order as there is a slump in home sales. what are you who live there seeing.

In my opinion the home prices haven't dropped that much in conway just for the fact that we have so many northeners that keep moving down here to buy the homes. If you want to get what your moneys actually worth try looking into aynor or loris. They aren't that far from the beach and you'll still get awesome home prices.

What's expensive to you? You can easily get a three bedroom house in Conway for less then $200,000. I just sold one for $170,000 with two full baths. It's really relative to what you're used to seeing but I would never consider Conway to be expensive.

Price is relative to an individual's certain expectations, wants, needs, and desires.

I, for one, would not live in Aynor or Loris regardless of home cost/lot size. The fact that i have everything at my disposal, and within minutes of my house, is worth more than the difference in home costs 25-30 miles outside of the beach.

Not that there is anything wrong with either Loris or Aynor, they are great little downs, but I grew up in a really rural area, I'm not moving back until I'm able to retire to my mountain chalet!
