Any retirees ... active adults... in Little River. Any suggestions on developments? Would like community pool, indoor is an added bonus. New construction is a plus. Any suggestions?

There are ALOT of retirees--and they are active!!!! Little River seems to be a good hub for this group!
If you're into "beach music", then this is the place for you! About 1/2 of our friends have moved there, and we have a place close-by that we use several times a year. It's nice to have a ready-made group of friends when you go someplace new!
There is a sub-division just off of Rt. 17 with everything you asked for: pool, ponds, lots of retirees...Can't think of the name, but you turn inland at the post office and go to the end of the road...easy!

My wife and I are looking hard at Little River for a wintertime 2nd home. It seems to offer a nice location that's quiet yet convenient to either Myrtle Beach or Wilmington and their amenities. There are some nice condo complexes along the Inter-Coastal Waterway as well as single-family homes at reasonable prices. I believe that real estate prices in that area will fall over the next year or two so there is plenty of time to shop around for a good housing bargain.
