Moved to SC recently.
Our anniversary is coming up and I thought we would come over and look at Myrtle Beach.
I need the room to be wheelchair accessible please and offstreet parking too.
Close to the beach please with an ocean view.
Recomendations?

The Embassy Suites is a beautiful hotel right on the beach with spacious rooms and nice facilities

Thanks.
I looked at their website and with a senior discount the room is $1463 for 3 nights.
Not within our retirement budget however.

$1463 for 3 nights at the Embassy Suites? Seems high...

What is your budget?

When are your planning to go? Dates mean a lot as to how much the hotels, etc. charge.

Making a late reservation the end of the Labor Day holiday week made things more expensive I am sure.
I found a suite at Homewood Suites that appears to be a nice location.
So I reserved an oceanfront room there for 3 days for our anniversary.
So if I can get the wife up for an early breakfast in the room just before sunrise over the Atlantic it will be worth it.
Born and raised myself just North of the SF Bay Area we used to really enjoy the sunsets over the Pacific so this will be new to us.
Expensive yes. Total with tax and resort fees and such was almost $1k but it just might be the only visit we will make to Myrtle Beach. You only go around once as they say.

That's why! I can't afford peak rates so I end up going in the dead of winter. Obviously, I've never been in the ocean at that time.

Question, why do you think you might want to go to MB? I’m local. Please go to Litchfield Beach, Charleston, Pawley’s Island, Beaufort or Kiawah Island. I’ve going to MB since the 60’s and am now retirement age and wouldn’t go to MB if it was free.

Not sure if this fits any of the criteria (except ocean view), but when I’m in town working, I’ll often stay at the Holiday Inn in Surfside. It’s not MB, but certainly close enough, and may be a bit more budget-friendly.
