Jenn, I've never been inside one of those apartments, I just know the area from going to the dog park across the street & I absolutely love it over there.

It's so peaceful by the Parthenon, I'd live there in a hot second for that price, even if it did have a crack den reputation...but then again I have notoriously low standards

Courtney

As far as the location goes...it can't really be beat for the price. As long as the water and electric worked, there wasn't a HUGE roach problem, and its a notorious crack den that i am unaware of... this will not stay on the market for long.
I LOVE West End Park but I can only imagine what would be lurking around the corner considering the price. Certainly worth a look though.

BTW, does anyone know if that old high-rise that overlooks Centennial is subsidized housing or assisted living? I've been wondering about it for years.

Aries,
I have always though it was subsidized housing, I could be wrong though.

I actually toured a unit in that complex many many years ago, it might as well have had chalk outlines on the floor haha. Maybe they've cleaned it up since, but with the prices I kind of doubt it. But the location is incredible. I used to live on Long Blvd and it was a blast!
