Current "hybrid" (gas heat, electric cool) heat/air system is original to the house and although have been told it is in good shape for it's age, I know it's going to need replacing in the next year or so . . possibly sooner (Weather Channel says over 100 degree temps for all next week ). Can anyone recommend a good heat/air company? Have not been happy with the happy face folks . . . maybe a smaller outfit that JUST does heat/air?

Thanks much!

Lee Co.

I have done everything heat/AC with them, from repairs to replacement of whole units. IMHO, the happy face people have a serious problem with overcharging.

I've been happy with Lee co and AJ Frick. Both have been responsive with various issues.

We like Hiller alot. One of the things we did not like about Lee Co. were the upsells.

Thanks for everyone's response . . . just saw that Costco sells heat/cool units and I know Lowe's/Home Depot does, too. Anyone every go that route?

Thank goodness the old unit it plugging away . . . my plants are all wilty. I wonder if they will perk up with a good soaking rain or if I will have to go to plastic ficus trees for the rest of the summer?

I can tell you who to avoid, but since he is sue happy, I won't list his name here, but it starts with a "G" and is 4-letters long. I have heard good things about Lee, but have never used them. I do NOT like Hiller for AC or plumbing work. I used to use a company that was bought out by Hiller when the owner retired, so tried them for both plumbing and AC work. Never again.
