As for country music, it seems to be in a swing away from traditional country music. If you want to count George Jones, Jim Ed Brown, Little Jimmy Dickens most of the old pioneers are all gone. Maybe you can count Ricky Skaggs, Vince Gill, Randy Travis as old guys now. Even Taylor Swift has moved on to something else.

May be just one of those swings where it is more pop or rock & roll than country until some other artist comes along.

I would first just try to find jazz musicians and work in your middle eastern influences as you jam together.

"Following up on any lead" means taking the suggestions offered. So even if Springwater looks like a dive, if someone sent you there because they let unknown artists play, then you certainly should try it.

If you want to play, though, you should just try to play ANYWHERE. Don't be specific about wanting to find a place that plays your very specific interest because it is just TOO specific.
Hey Wmsn4Life, 1st off Thanks So Much for your Wealth of Info. You're SO Encouraging & I Really Appreciate it. From what you told me about that Nashville has an "Underground Music Scene" had lead me to find other things. I had found a "No Country for New Nashville" web.

Would you know anything about this?

Since I'm visiting Nashville Really soon

Would you know WHERE I can Find where the "Underground Music Scene" is?

Like what clubs do they play at. Or Meet these Underground Bands. So, I was thinking of Checking this "Underground Music" out. Please let me know. Sorry for these all questions (It's just that you've just been So Encouraging). Thanks again!

An "underground scene" is not an official place.

It's just a network of people with a common interest who get together.

Just get out and start meeting people. Go to different venues. Watch other performers.
