I looked around the TDOT website but didn't find anything. Are there any plans down the road to make I-65 three lanes in each direction down to 840?

We're considering moving to Thompson's Station, but from what I've seen I-65 turns into a parking lot for about a mile when it goes from 4 to 2 lanes.

I'm sure it is going to happen, but it's anybody's guess when.

Thanks. I was just wondering if there was an official plan to have it done by 201X or something.

Nothing I have heard of. Road construction is a constant in Middle Tennessee. They love to begin 15 different projects at once and take 20 years to complete each one versus completing one or two at a time. Go figure .

You might check the Tennessean's website. I'm pretty sure I've read about them widening 65 all the way down to 840 to accomodate the growth in Spring Hill.
