I am considering a move here I love lakes and watersports. What is the weather like, especially the winters? How close to nashville is this? Any and all information welcome. It would be me my DH we are 26 and still young at heart and my 2 year old daughter. Is this a good family place? Are there lots of things to do?

It's about two hours to Nashville (one hour to Clarksville, the nearest larger city).

Paris TN is a beautiful place and a wonderful place to raise a family. I wouldn't probably chose Paris unless I have a job guaranteed there since it is still someone smaller town where people have vacation homes around the lake. There may be limited employment options as a result. The weather in middle TN is very mild but we do have some freezes but very little ice or snow.
