This is a different area from the one I referenced above. This is north of E. Trinity and West (barely) of Ellington Pky. To tell the truth, I've driven past this area thousands of times, but have never ventured toward Norton. I do know, however, that some of the neighborhoods tucked away in this area are really nice. Sorry to mislead before. I think I'll drive by Norton on the way home tonight and check it out.
I would be forever indebted.

The address is 512 Norton. I sooo want this to be "OK".

It's everything I need in a home at an unbeatable price.

It's no trouble. If I'm still alive to post a report, then it's probably okay. If I never come back, we might to rethink that zip code. lol. Sorry, had to.

As you can see from the PM I sent you, I lived to tell my story. But after taking my carpooler to Weiss' Liquor on Main Street, shopping at the Eastland Kroger (ha ha, bluesky ...) and checking out the house off E. Trinity Lane, I automatically have earned a gold star for an urban grit experience. I survived, unscathed...I drove fast.

For anyone else interested, the neighborhood is a bit stressed. Very working class. No one in the area seems to have won the Tn. PowerBall in the recent past. The house looks adequate, good condition, manageable yard, great tree, a bird bath and a coffee can (can't explain that, but it seemed to have a purpose). I would imagine the area is safe enough, but definitely a starter location for one not looking for a trendy, hip area. This one is not, but not everyone needs that. Good luck with whatever you decide to do, WML. My profile wouldn't mesh too well over there, but it might be just what you're looking for. Only you can make that decision.
