Just curiosity. I've seen many types of animals fights on the internet but I've never seen any animal fighting a grizzly bear one-on-one. I figured I would ask posters on the nature forum this type of question instead of putting it on the pets forum.
Are there any apex predators that can take on a grizzly bear one-on-one in a fight?

Polar Bear? From recent observations, probably not. In the last few years, grizzlies have been expanding their territory by migrating north into polar bear range. There have been a few matings between the two species, producing cubs. When there have been fights, the grizzly usually dominates, even though the white bear is often the heavier animal.
Orca? For sure, any bear in the water is vulnerable, and is little able to defend itself, plus the orca is a much larger predator.
Siberian Tiger? Depends on the age, size, and sex of the animals. Adult male tigers of at least average size will sometimes prey on Asiatic Brown Bear cubs or adult females. Rarely will they take on a decent sized adult male bear, usually at least half again the size of the big cat.

Historians say that the Ancient Romans used to have animal fights in the colosseum. They say that lions actually fought against Atlas bears in the colosseum. Not sure if that actually happen but I'm sure it would've been quite epic to see such a spectacle.
Don't think a mountain lion/puma could hold its own?
