Well, the article is up there now on Nevada Appeal. Sounds like a great place.

However, I disagree that members were asked for e-mail addresses ahead of time. I know for a fact mine was provided a while back and is valid, but I have not received a thing. Maybe just the "loyal" members got notified. Did they pay extra for that? Last I checked, my membership dues paid for the same services....

I remember when the parent-teacher store moved just across the parking lot at Topsy, they notified customers for about a month before the move, and I didn't have to pay money to walk in their doors.

Anyhow, though this situation was not handled well, I hope that they do a "make good" with all the members who will not be following them to the new location and that the new business is successful. A lot of the things they were talking about in the article were things the Topsy Lane location couldn't accommodate. Hopefully, they can make it work...and hope there were some lessons learned in customer service.
