Any of the presidentials. Expect crowds in the summer. Doing them in the winter will change your life.

Mt. Major in the fall is a beautiful hike, great views of Lake Winnipesaukee.
The top 1/4 can be a bit challenging after a extended wet period though (lots of steep/wet areas you need to climb/descend).
In the foliage season, I think it some of the best views around.

For an easier climb Red Hill in Moultonboro is a good suggestion as well as the drive over to Castle in the Clouds.

For a harder climb try Mt. Adams via Kings Ravine (go down another way, perhaps the Airline trail). Also if you got a long day, how about Mt. Jefferson via the Great Gulf and Six Husbands, then Adam and go back the Osgood trail. Great above treeline views, peaceful valley, interesting climb.

For an easier hike try the Webster Cliff trail.

In part it was the end of bike season when i discovered the first info, then with work and holidays, we got snow and for this hike no snow would be better.
Hike New England - Mt. Waternomee B18 Bomber Crash Site

Yesterday Gwyn and I went to Falls Pond at Rocky Gorge on the Kanc. It isn't really a hike, but we were just chasing the sun.

I wonder if you still post here and if so have done winter hikes in the Whites? I assume you have..

In dead winter now even Mt Washington is loaded with winter campers. Years ago i switch to Adams via Lowes Path.

I much prefered the old Craig Camp and the old Gray Knob to the new, but it is what it is. I still have my pictures.

I don't much like rocks like that myself. You just never know if you will pull a Old Man of the Mountain on one.

I am not sure where that one is, but it looks like some in Franconia I have been to.

Another site I know of has this map which you can get for 8 bucks, and the map is way cool and water proof.

This is not in the AMC Guide maps either
Map & Guide

Ah Table rock at Dixville NH i have ridden my mc by that but never did the hike.
