Progressive, culture, good local newspaper, music concerts, walkable, educated, natural beauty. Sense of community, camping, charm, health food stores, politics, bookstores, libraries, good air & water quality, low crime rate, good place to enjoy life as a young professional but also a spot to start a family somewhere down the line.
Start off in or around Boston. It has everything you're looking for and still not far from rural woodsy areas.
acousticplanet, I can tell from the get go you are female..... NH is not the place for you to be by the listings you created.
Vt might be but i doubt northen anything in VT wiuld be a place where you could winter and still be happy. Same thing in NH.
I would say areas like hartford ct albany ny maybe boston or brattleborro vt would suit you far better. From those places with money, you can always visit the scenic northern places.
Areas like burlington Vt get serious cold in winter time... where it may reach -40 below 0 which is the same thing in C or F degrees.
Will take the lead from Greg W.'s post in terms of location.
Will definitely visit and work on offers before making any sudden moves!
Thanks again!
