My husband, 5 yo son and I will be in the Lebanon/Hanover area for 3 days in mid August? Are there any good places/activities for a 5 year old in the area. I've heard good things about Montshire Museum. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

The hike to Quechee Gorge is easy. Stop in at the Cabot Cheese shop too.

Montshire Museum.

I think there is a train you can take in White River Junction VT too.

Billings Farm in VT offers tours and usually has some sort of 19th century craft thing going on.
I haven't been there yet, but Ruggles Mine might be fun for the young one.
