I found this great video about New Hampshire on YouTube, and thought I'd share it with everyone.

The video is filled with shots of everything that makes NH such a beautiful state, and it's narrated by the great Orson Welles.

The video was produced by the New Hampshire Film and Television Office (http://www.nh.gov/film - broken link) to lure filmmakers to the state, so you will hear sales pitches in parts of it. But that is not intrusive and it's still a fantastic video that shows the beauty of New Hampshire.

Enjoy!

Thanks for posting the link JMX - I may have missed it, but did it say when the video was done? Welles died in the mid-80's, I think, so it would be before then? Amazing how much of the beauty is still here and "unspoiled."

it says in the video that they're just using his voice before he died for the video. The man in the tie talking in the video is big up here in NH he does some weekly NH show about towns or something or another I dunno I don't really watch or anything but I've seen him on NH tv a lot

Okay thanks! - Didn't have my headset in when good old Fritz spoke about using the voice Yes, he is on a show, "New Hampshire Chronicles" I think is the name. I've watched it a few times to learn more about the state and if he's doing something on Northern NH I definitely try to watch it - I get a kick out of him

There are many other videos about NH and its cities. I never thought of going to YouTube to take a peek of what the area is like. Thank you, JMX!

I'm glad everyone has enjoyed the video!

I was trying to figure out when the video was made too, DareToDream. I assume it was made within the past year or two. They posted it on YouTube in July 2007. I assume Welles must have narrated some other video back in the 80's before he died, and they used the same voice track for this video.
