Does anyone have the laws on how many days per year I can legally use my camper in New Hampshire? On my own land.

If zoning allows - probably 180 days consecutively. In my town - it has to be moved off the lot after 6 months - but can be moved back in 6 months. Suitable water/waste disposal (to state or town specs) required. Some towns are strict - some not so much. Some will let you put a camper on your land - some will not.

Seems ridiculous to me. As long as I'm not breaking any pollution laws, amd I own 20 ac in Coos County - someone is gonna tell me I can't use my own property as I see fit?

The fastest and surest way to find out is to call the code enforcement officer in the town your land is in.

There are all kinds of reasons various zoning regulations are put into place - occupant safety, environmental hazards, traffic issues, nuisance or aesthetic impact on neighborhood - e.g. water pollution or biohazard, noise issues, raising animals, keeping old appliances or vehicles in the yard, etc

So, if I buy an existing farm - I could be prevented from using it for other things?

You don't really own real estate - you are renting it from the govt.

Again....the zoning bylaws will apply. I strongly suggest that you won't be allowed to open up a dump site for radioactive waste, or a trailer park. The use has to be compatible with agriculture, and not disruptive to the other residents of the area.

Well there goes my dreams of an investment property in Portsmouth. Thanks for ruining that.

I was glad to see comment on how you do not own what you think you own.
They can tax you as they wish or impose what ever they wish.

Post Zoning is primarily local, most RSAs only preempt local ZBA from outright forbidding certain uses (e.g. ADU)

Yes, your neighbors (or at least their elected local representatives). That's zoning for you.
