Hi everyone,

We've been shopping for a house and have posted a few times already for advice. All of your answers have been very helpful. We found a house on Pierce Street in Nashua that we really liked and is within our price range. It's right on the border of downtown Nashua and in the more undesirable neighborhoods, however we drove around that street and it seems nice. We also spoke to a neighbor who lives on that street, and she informed us that most of the people who live there have been living there for 20 years or more. Do any of you know anything else about that street that we should be aware of, before we go ahead and make an offer on that house?

Thanks again!

Julie

I have no idea, but you can call the Nashua police and ask about calls to that neighborhood/area, etc...........they should be able to give you an idea on that perspective.

You may also want to consider the activity in the entire neighborhood other than just the street your considering. AngelaK has a good idea with contacting the local police dept. You may also want to consider actually stopping by the Police Dept. and asking in person. You may get better results with that approach then just a phone call.
