Default Seafood Restaurant near Brigantine

We are going to Brigantine in a couple of weeks, this will be our second time there and I remember that last year we had a hard time finding a good fresh seafood restaurant. My hubby wants to break open fresh crab legs and clams and enjoy that fresh seafood taste... we're willing to take a day trip to get to it... any suggestions?

my disclaimer: i hate seafood, lol. however, people have raved about the "mud city crab house" in manahawkin, off of 72 (exit 63 GSP). you're looking at about a 40 mile drive, but that seems to fit your parameters.

There are world class restaurants in the AC casino's. I heard The Harbor View in the Trump Marina is good.

I'm also not a seafood fan. I've heard great things about the Lobster Shack in Wildwood... But that also might be too far for you.

Good Luck.

Maybe we were in the wrong section last year but we drove over to Atlantic City and didn't want to get out of the car... we couldn't get out of there fast enough... the drugs and prostitution... we were scared for our lives!!! I'll also have two 13 year olds with me that I would rather not take to casino's.... they don't need to be introduced to gambling yet. Actually, I think I'm more afraid of what they may see over there....

Wildwood sounds fun though... the kid could see the boardwalk there too.

How about getting to AC before the sun goes down The boardwalk might be fun for the kids and you can get into the restaurants before the crowds.

Aaaaahhh-they were just getting ready to go home probably. LOL. It is pretty colorful down there. LOL. You can always turn it into a "this is what might happen if you don't stay on the right path in life" kind of lesson. I'm just teasing. I hope you find a good restaurant somewhere.
