Well, this week I ran out of benefits on my claim. When I finally got thru to the agent, it turns out that the base year they used was fiscal year 2010 since I filed on 4/10/11. And they only have proof that I worked only 19 weeks total, 6 in the second quarter and 13 in the third. Here's the problem:

Employed from May 15, 2010 to April 10, 2011 full-time plus overtime!!!
(1) NJDOL used only weeks from 2010 and I didn't know all about the alternate base periods, which would have given me credit for the weeks up through March 2011. So I lose the weeks up until April 10, 2011?????

(2) The last quarter of 2010 is missing in their records, and now I have to wait 2 weeks for a monetary examiner to interview me via phone on 9/9!

(3) Is it worth appealing the base period to have the 14 weeks in 2011 added onto the existing 32 from 2010 as far as length and size of payments?

.ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED AS I WILL BE BROKE UNTIL I CAN GET THIS RESOLVED! It's my bday this weekend too so I won't be having a happy birthday it looks like....
