We are moving to the area and would love to hear current feedback on preschools. Looking at West Side Nursery School, BELC, Ridgewood Coop Nursery and Glen Rock Coop.
I don't have firsthand experience, but I do have 2 friends who have used the Ridgewood co-op and both loved it. They have 5 kids between the 2 of them, and they all attended preschool there in the past few years, the youngest is there currently.
our 4 year old attends the Glen Rock Coop and has loved it. Everyone there has truly been very nice and there little projects are appropriate and fun as it should be for a 4 year old. Not super expensive and the parent participation is never overwhelming. I feel we've made a really great choice.
From firsthand experience, A wonderful preschool is Play N Learn. Both of my kids went there and besides of having a blast, they were more than ready for kindergarten. Families come from both Glen Rock and Ridgewood.
My child goes to Belc and loves it make sure you get an age appropriate class .ex if child is 5 years dont put him with 4 years olds. I have also heard very good things about westside but they only have half days and if you need to keep a child engaged for a whole school day westside won't be able to cater.
Any folks have fresh insight on the above? Thanks.
