I can't get in touch with family in Bricktown that live on the lagoon. Does anyone have word on that area?

The areas near the water were severely flooded. The areas away from the water were relatively unscathed and some areas even have power. Some of the stores on 70 were open late this afternoon.

Most of the flooding takes place just east of Washington Ave. so you should be okay.

Sandy was a nasty storm & 46 people have died & many are homeless. What ashame. I have family in pa & nj. I hope they are ok.

Ok, I saw on the news that the bayshore area has extensive damage and union Beach isn't 'off the map' but there is very sever damage. The barrier islands are essentially wiped off the map because so many homes have literally been swept out to sea. What a horror show.

I've seen pictures of many boardwalks and piers. Does anyone know about the Steel Pier in ATlantic City? That is full of rides as well and over the ocean.
