I live in a neighboring town where you can't park in the streets overnight and I don't think many of our residents have any problem with it. If you are having overnight guests you can call the PD and they are cool with it.

No overnight parking keeps the streets much quieter and you can't just rent out your house to a million people and their extended families who come to visit and never leave.

it helps big time in the winter with snow removal. I've in Rutherford where anyone can park in the streets overnight and just driving around town in February was a disaster.


Also, Lodi is kind of a dump. but I suppose it's fairly safe and the Garibaldi part is probably the best one other than what borders Hasbrouck Heights.
