Default Information on New Milford

Can anyone provide any information on the town of New Milford? Especially with regard to school system. I would be commuting into NYC so if anyone does the commute from New Milford, any feedback would be appreciated. Lastly, it seems that the houses are pretty affordable for Bergen County when you compare the prices in other Bergen County towns - I wonder why?

not as many rich people, and it has no downtown. It is not really a walking town. it is sort of tucked away in a forgotten place. there is buses that go throught there, but that is it.

Not much life in the town.

friend grew up there and liked that suburban life. and you are right, for Bergen County, the home prices are not as ridiculous. HOWEVER, depending on where on New Milford, streets get FLOODED when there's heavy rain. So just make sure to ask about that when you look at homes.
