the tea party platform is mainstream. there is nothing extreme about fiscal discipline, everyone should have it.
A). Every reputable news forum, except perhaps fox, reported the shut down cost 24 billion in lost business.....so you would be wrong about that.

B) You have no qualifications to determine whether Obamacare will be a success or not and even if you did it's way to early to determine.

C). Healthcare reform has been an issue since the 50s. Hillary tried reform in the 90s but as usual Republicans refused to do anything that might actually help the working class public. Bush had 8 years to address it but did nothing but get us into numerous unfunded wars and destroy our economy under his watch. Obama made a promise to reform healthcare if elected. As a Republican supporter l know it must be shocking to see someone keep a promise but Obama did !!!

D). The Tea Party platform may have some American ideals but it's run by far right wing Bible thumping, fear mongering, doomsday bunker building, conspiracy theorists, they're coming for our guns, ultra conservatives who are as far from mainstream as you can get. When your leaders are the laughing stock of politics your not going anywhere !!!

The problem here is that some people actually believe some of the nonsense that Hannity and O'Rielly spew out. For a professional journalist there should be some pride in presenting a fair and balanced view but according to Fox reporters Obama has done absolutely nothing right since he's been in office which we all know just isn't true. They should be ashamed of what they offer the public as "fair and balanced".

I find it funny that leftists all the sudden care about a theoretical $24 billion loss. what about the $1 trillion+ in deficit spending? that doesn't bother you, but a made up $24 billion number is a real big problem apparently. what about the millions of people that are losing health care coverage at the end of this year and don't have the ability to enroll in a new plan to start coverage 1/1/14? maybe the democrats should have compromised and listened to ted cruz and at least delayed implementation. but you don't care about those people right? that's just a bump in the road, people losing health insurance when they had insurance they were happy with and paid for. no biggie, but that $24 billion made up number is a big issue!

isn't that interesting, we just overhauled the health care system and made no attempt to do what everyone wanted; and we aren't supposed to have any ability to determine whether or not it was a good idea. that makes a lot of sense right? just like passing a law without reading it and being told "you have to pass the bill so we can see whats in it." you have no problem with that.

but obamacare does nothing to cut costs. so it doesn't address the real problem. also, our healthcare system was mostly successful. expanding coverage to illegals and people that opt out wasn't an emergency. dealing with pre-existing conditions and expanding Medicaid didn't require obamacare.

our leaders control the house and will control the senate in 2015.

It's like how Rush Limbaugh far outpaces any liberal radio personality. Liberals become liberal thru education, compassion and life experience. Conservatives become conservative by believing the Bible and letting Rush and other righty nuts deliver talking points that sound like "common sense" to a provincial uneducated mind.
Exactly......it's the same idiots that believe in the Tea Party that read the Bible and believe the Earth is only 6000 years old. Insanity !!!

In other words, you have absolutely nothing to substantiate the drivel you post, yet expect to be taken seriously.

And you whine about Fox News doing the exact same thing.

Another fail

BTW, just for kicks I did Google it - and found nothing. But you already knew that, as did anyone else here with even a modicum of understanding politics in general, and NJ-related politics more specifically. Which begs another question, why does someone from Ocala, FL spend time trolling the NJ forum? That desperate to win the city-data contest?

And as to your mailing the "proof" - I'm just impressed you are housebroken in the first place

unless you are making that up as well

tea party members are wealthier, better educated and better looking than democrats. the idea of labeling tea partiers as extremist bible thumpers is just a tactic to try to marginalize the group. if you believe it, its because you aren't very bright and you are easily manipulated.

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/15/us...poll.html?_r=0

the leftists will label conservatives differently depending on what they want to attack at the moment. one minute, I am a toothless bible thumping moron, the next I am a rich white businessman. where do you democrats get your voting numbers from? how did Obama do in our bastions of intelligent thought like Camden, Irvington, Newark and every other city you wouldn't feel safe walking around at night?

listen to rush, he is very good at what he does. my favorite these days is andy dean, he is on 710 at 6pm. for the most part, religion isn't a part of talk radio.
Then why do you need to listen to a mouthpiece to affirm your beliefs and spoon feed you talking points? Its not as if there are more conservatives than liberals, if that were so Obama would never have been elected. I live in a liberal area and no one I know listens to liberal talk radio, they don't even have any liberal radio hosts broadcast in the DC area of all places. It's because liberal people just have sense and education and don't use Limbaugh and others as a crutch to help them argue since their points have no basis in reality. Opposing universal health care, gay marriage and abortion is so asinine that righties need their little radio talking heads to try to make up talking point justifications against the issues. It makes uneducated righties feel good to believe that they are truly the smart ones and liberals with advanced educations are the real idiots, its why hucksters like Limbaugh live in cavernous mansions.

i find it funny that leftists all think they are so intelligent. you use dc as an example, it is filled with the ignorant masses. look at the cities in nj that vote democrat; they are sewers and they vote democrat. then you have the liberal elitists which i guess you think you are. just because you are white and liberal doesnt make you intelligent. is it just me or is "asinine" the most common word for a not so bright person to use to try to sound bright? anyway, rush is entertainment. he isnt needed for people to make their arguments. you have liberals try to mimic his success and fail because liberal ideas cant stand up to scrutiny.

i have an idea, lets test people's knowledge of american history and current events to allow them to vote. how about lets require government issued photo ID to vote? nooooooo democrats dont like that because democrats rely on millions of people too dumb to pass a test and apparently too dumb to get photo ID also.

and look at your beloved obamacare. good job screwing over the young and healthy people that make a decent living. oh but people who will get medicaid or subsidies pay for their health insurance will be happy. because success is happy people that get their stuff paid for by taxpayers.
