suggesting people complain to someone else where they pretend its more useful has nothing to do with you actually doing something more useful. its just an obnoxious way of trying to shut someone else up and feel all high and mighty. they think your complaint is somehow not worthy of speaking about but I bet if its a complain they are on board with, brady isn't jumping in that thread and telling the person to stop complaining and contact their congressman.

if its simply a matter of giving yourself more time, the solution seemed pretty easy.

I like the idea of having a dashboard camera as evidence in case of an accident. Can they also be used to give you a view of the back and/or sides of the car while driving?

Any idea which brands / model(s) are best? There are lots of them on eBay... Thanks!

For those of you who are defending cops, may want to read up on this article. It's out of control, and absolutely terrifying:

The really shocking thing there is the Bloomfield Police didn't manage to lose the recording.

complaining about getting a ticket is venting. there's nothing wrong with that. but some people take it way past that and use it to complain about the law they broke. that's the high and mighty, not someone pointing out to them that the law happens to be the law. unless they were unaware of it, they knowingly broke it. it's like that one guy who posts on here quite often about how he just got a ticket blah blah blah.

and even when it's something i agree with...i do tell people to contact their congressman. how much did you lose in the bet?

Cops are shrewd, but they are generally not the smartest bunch of people. I have a a cousin a few years older than me who work in a nearby town (because my uncle is high up on the totem pole as a cop in that town.) The kid barely graduated from community college and just went right into the force.
