We are not from New Jersey. We're visiting our college student over her Thanksgiving break and would like to have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with her. We'll be staying in a hotel, but at $40/person, aren't sure the hotel Thanksgiving dinner is worth it. Do you have any recommendations for a holiday lunch or dinner in the Hoboken/Jersey City area? We won't have a car but are also open to heading over to NYC if we can keep it to about $30/person.
Satis is great but a bad recommendation. Their regular prix fixe is $35 and last year they were closed on Thanksgiving.
If you are senior citizens, you may be able to get a free dinner at the Iron Monkey in Jersey City. The $40 might be on the low end around these parts. One other restaurant I found offering Thanksgiving dinner still cost $49.5
Good luck.
