We just bought in Glen Ridge. I shared my figures in a previous post....which are reasonable . But we certainly paid a premium to get a house with new windows central ac and gas heat. We have two zone ac. One is 1999 old Freon and will cost 8k to upgrade when it goes That’s just one of two zones. The other zone thankfully is 2007 non Freon refrigerant. Which is why I gave you a heads up.

Our house is landmarked and on the main historical street that runs through town. I’m addicted to making upgrades and restoring it and wouldn’t be have it any other way. So I am totally on the other end of the spectrum lol

Water $30 a month. If sprinklers on then $100 a month.

Are you sure your existing heat is electric?
Yes I use multiple Lasko space heaters. My wall units can do heating and AC but bills in winter are horrendous (apartment building was made on cheap) so we don't use them.
