Here is why a suggestion for dividing the forum into either major areas or, more helpful IMHO, counties would enhance the NJ forum: I personally use these city forums to ask for suggestions for services, activities, advise, etc. If, for example, I am looking for suggestions for the services of a good dentist in Cape May County a suggestion coming from Paterson would not be helpful.

A county would not be added until a forum user requested same.

I am personally responsible for Naples being added to the FL forum and Horrey County in the SC forum.

It would be if the person from Paterson new a dentist in Cape May. Just becuase I don't live in Cape May doesn't mean I know nothing about it. Just come on to the "New Jersey" forums and ask your question I am sure people will be more than happy to help ,we're a friendly group. No need for a specialized forum.

If South Jersey can't even get its own forum, why would a Jersey Shore forum have any success?

It would be silly for this site to have a Jersey Shore forum but not one for South Jersey.

OP - You would have a better chance of getting a Gov. Murphy section.

I have my reasons why which I'll keep to myself which has nothing to do with you btw.

You can ask there.

Personally I think we should only have one section for the entire state. It’s not that large and the suburbs of philly section has posts from May still on the first page
Having no sub-forum was frustrating. Wading through posts about walkable towns with good schools with a one hour commute to the city--don't forget low crime--is tiring. I don't think any more of the posts about South Jersey were answered, but few noticed.

I agree with DannyHobkins. South Jersey is the Shore to most of the people who post here. Camden is on the crime lists. Other than that, they don't know a thing about the area.

Central New Jersey is the Shore , South New Jersey is the Shore, ....see the problem?

You’re right. Using the forum search feature you can see exactly how many threads about Cape May County have been posted. So far in 2018 (it’s still early), there has been one thread posted with the words “Cape May” in the title. This is that thread.
