There was a proposal to build a new academic building on the lot where the grease trucks sit. It was part of the new College Avenue plan. I'm not sure if that's just moving forward very slowly, or if it has been reconsidered.
I could see the uproar now if that happened. Maybe the grease trucks would just relocate? Who knows.
back in the days, i used to hang out in the Busch Student center and computer labs all weekend long
Don't forget LSM! Being a pharmacy student, we are notoriously known (along with engineering majors and "pre-meds") for congregating in these three places in order to study our lives away.
Absolutely! There would be mass rioting if these were to be taken away. There's a joke that students like to say: everytime you eat a fat sandwich, your life expectancy decreases by one year.
Oh crap! I won't survive the decade!!! Who doesn't like chicken fingers, fries and mozz sticks stuffed into a sub roll? Add some o rings and it'd be death in a bun. It's been too long since I've had a fat *****!
They make stuffed grape leaves at the trucks too. I hoped they'd throw them onto one of the sandwiches and call it a Fatopolous Greekopolous or something.
Oh ok. CS makes sense too. Usually CS, engineering, and math classes are taught in SERC. I have Stats there. I also took my Calc and Physics finals there. Did the friendly rivalry between engineering and pharmacy students exist when you came here?
LOL, thank goodness it's friendly. Two of my roommates are engineering majors and they'd gang up on me.
