In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, I predict much higher rents in areas that escaped the storm without major damage. Places like WildWood, Ocean City and other shore communities south of Brigantine will be much busier this coming summer season, more traffic, more crowds. With the destruction of Seaside and it's boardwalk, they will not be any where near ready for the influx of summer visitors. Few houses will be ready for renters in the coming summer season, and fewer services available in areas hard hit by the storm.
