Frank - you're numbers can't be right - there's hundreds of homes in morris county for under $500k and taxes under $10 grand. Maybe you meant cheapest in the town of Mendham?

The OP's criteria was not that "regular people" could afford it, so what does that have to do with anything?

hey listen, YOU'RE the one spouting off places with less population density = a better place to raise kids. ergo, in your mind, a place like pleasantville is preferable to westfield.
one thing I agree on - YES, let's talk some sense.

are you kidding me? MOST houses in my morris county town are less than $730K with 12K taxes.
You're losing credibility.

My computer is really on the fritz so I cant see any pictures but if that split is tan and the one I think it is, it has been on the market for a really long time and its NOT nearly as nice as the picture. Trust me. But there are houses in that are you can buy for waaaaaaaaaay less than what Frank thinks and its one desirable town for various reasons.

matt- honest. I use a century 21 search page that searches all the houses for sale in any area you want. I picked Morris county and had a choice of Chatham and Washington township.. I chose both... I know what you mean. I was shocked too.. Maybe my site is missing something????
