HOW ON EARTH did this chump get acquitted of these charges??

Speeding WITHOUT LIGHTS OR SIREN in pursuit of some speeder going 50 in a 35 mph zone?

Wow, NJ is more corrupt than ever!

I hope the poor girls who died haunt him up and down his hallway at night!

If this was Joe Schmo he would be rotting in jail right now! This sickens me!

It's not the first time a cop gets away with murder and I'm sure it's not the last. Cops have shown us time and time again that they can do anything they like with impunity.

Well 12 average American people on a jury listened to the evidence and said he was innocent. This is the system that we live with. They made a professional opinion and informed decision. I agree with the decision like any other decision made by a jury. It's a unfortunate incident but it wasn't murder. Read the definition.

While I don't always or even often agree with juries, I think the decision in this case was just. It wasn't a "moyda" but an axe-i-dent.

You automatically agree with a jury decision? Why not make up your own mind?

This just about covers it:

"This case demonstrates the reckless disregard of the law exercised by many law enforcement officers. If there was no pursuit then his speed and deliberate choice not to observe traffic conditions is criminal where he crashes and kills to people. If there really was a pursuit in progress, then he disrregarded a number of policies and laws. Even in a high-speed pursuit, officers must obey traffic laws and proceed only when it's clear and safe, just as in any situiation. Officers are never authorized to drive recklessly. Another thing that has to be cvonsidered by the officer is the nature of the offense and whether it justifiess the risks of pursuit. Generally a motor vehicle violation is not something you engage in a high speed pursuit for. A robbery, sex assault, shooting or more dangerous type of offense may be, but there are other factors that have to be factored into the decision, primarily safety."

Because I wasn't on the jury. Just like the OJ trial they made a decision and I could live with it.

So if you don't know the evidence, how can you agree with it? Also, what do you think about the paragraph I quote above?

I hope that the people who "can live with the decision" would feel the same way if it was their daughters.

I have followed this story closely and it is clearly murder. He even admitted to running the Stop sign.
