The level of analysis you're putting into Taylor Ham is borderline absurd, especially in the way you seemingly dismiss anyone who doesn't agree that THEC is the only viable breakfast choice. I'm a "born and bred New Jerseyan", to use your phrase, and I don't particularly care for pork roll (yes, it's called "pork roll")- I prefer a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. I guess that disqualifies me as a "born and bred New Jerseyan", since I don't "have the taste for taylor ham"......
Well, apparently you're a "born and bred New Jerseyan" who not only lacks a taste for Taylor Ham, but also lacks a taste for borderline absurd hyperbole.

And you said MY analysis of THEC was borderline absurd? I intended the hyperbole in my posts, Bob. Are you just mad at me still? Is that what this is about? Lighten up, this thread isn't meant to be taken quite this seriously.
Bacon does have a similar taste to sausage. Filet mignon does taste similar to hamburger (at least, the kind of lean hamburger I have specially ground to eat raw).

Yes! Taylor Ham on a burger is AWESOME! Try Davey's Locker, in Montvale - ask for a Daveys Burger, it has TH and cheese on Davey's excellent burger, cooked to order, with their excellent fries (your choice - shoestring, steak, or waffle!). It's FANNN-TASTIC!!!

I'm not "mad at you"- never have been. Apparently the hyberbole doesn't show through- probably since your typical post is so quick to dismiss anyone who doesn't follow your lock-step "Jersey rules, you suck- if you don't like it, leave" theory of life.
Not breakfast but one thing Jersey could have ( I haven't seen one so if there is please tell where) is a Brazilian steak house...went to one in Niagra Falls CN and one in Atlanta....they are good

There are several such places in/around Newark- they're called "rodizio", and the most popular one in the area is Seabra's Rodizio on McCarter Highway. If you're into that food and dining experience, it's well worth the trip.
