Hey all, I live in Fair Lawn (nearby Paramus). I was wondering what the best (cheapest) way to get back in the middle of the night is. Often I'll drive to Rutherford train station to go into the city because the 190 bus runs back to that same spot all night. However, this is not possible if I'm drinking and I'm forced to crash a friend's place.
My friend is visiting and will not want to stay on one of my friends' couches. What is the best way to get home? Perhaps theres a closer bus than Rutherford from which we can catch a cab back....
You can always try calling a cab at the Rutherford train station and cabbing it from there. Or take the 190 all the way to the Paterson Broadway Bus Terminal (last stop on the 190 from NYC) and cabbing it from there as well since its closer to Fairlawn.
