there are gangs here? the closest things i see to gang activity is a bunch of middle aged ladies eating lunch together. they are so loud, all trying to talk over one another.

LOL. You know your towns have gangs. Stop lying. The police is a gang too.
Gangs in NJ are a very serious problem and locking them up....well they are still running their gangs from inside the prison walls...the PRISONS can't even keep on top of it
I say do a prisoner exchange program..ship em out to a facility in North Dakota
I don't doubt that there are some KKK chapters in New Jersey, but I've personally never heard of them. And really, does the KKK even bother anyone anymore? It's not like they're holding lynchings; it's a bunch of weirdos gathering in someone's basement. I highly doubt they commit any street crimes that could affect me or anyone else. I'd liken them more to a racist men's club than a gang.
Without mentioning the towns and cities- - Nj has a pretty substantal gang problem- - not as bad as ny on the other side of the Hudson- - but its getting worse than ever - not better

There are gangs of rowdy kids in Maplewood. Stay clear of the ice cream shop, there is a lot of "gang activity" there Also, look out for "gangs" of blowhards ...
Start by voting against those you deem to be incompetent.
I'm 51, my child, and haven't missed an election yet.
You may not have noticed this, but just voting is not always a solution in New Jersey. Nor is mere incompetence always the issue, although I guess you could technically claim that corruption is incompetence.

when every politician is just as corrupt as the next one, its hard to pretend thats enough.
