Children's Health magazine, published by Rodale, named Jersey City the 13th best place to raise a family. The magazine released a top 100 list of municipalities across the nation. The only other city in New Jersey to make the list was Newark, who ranked 46th
Ha ha ha...Maybe on a list of the top 100 places NOT to raise a child would I rank Jersey City and Newark.... What a joke these lists are.
Anyone who has a family should move FROM Jersey City, not into it. It's not the worst place, but quite honestly is predominately a dump, with a few pockets of good areas.
Was this a joke? I was born and raised in J.C. but got out when I could....It's going down so fast, it will
take years to come back, if ever..Oh, they can build all those condos out of old "companies", ie. the
american Can company, with a beautiful view of another "wonderful" site, the Pulaski skyway, and the
wonderful condos on the old Medical Center..in a "wonderful" neighborhood...Yeah, I'm packing my bags
right now and moving back.........NOT
