Sure is a lot of legal advice floating around this thread for a bunch of people who none of them claims to be an attorney. I would never offer any kind of legal advice, even if I were an attorney, going only by what I'm told on an internet post.

It's not legal advice it's common sense. You didn't pay a ticket & now there is a warrant you need to address it asap.....
The warrant will be recalled when the bail is posted. The bail will be returned upon completion of the case or can be applied to the possible fine.
That is what I tried to convey but the one poster says you can have it reset by a phone call...never heard of that but guess it's worth a try and if it doesn't work they need to get in & pay the $99
The light rail fare enforcement system is pretty stupid, imo. I don't get why they don't just have turnstiles or a consistent ticket collector.
I have to agree because it's just an open platform and if you don't know better and not from the area you will assume it's a transfer.
I will be going to pay the bail tomorrow and get my court date and will be telling the judge my story.
Basically if they drop it or apply the bail amount to the ticket I would be happy because I'm bout to get my license (in NY) then transfer it to NJ and I don't want it to come back and haunt me.
