I'm contemplating accepting a job in Princeton, NJ, my preliminary research shows Princeton is very sub urbanish and extremely expensive community .....
So looking for thoughts on where I could live that’s a fairly straight forward commute to work. I’m moving from the west coast (AZ), so I know I’m already in for a shocker, but I’m young (in my late 20s), single and love city living, night life, arts, dining e.t.c. Not too overly worried about the cost of living as long as it’s a young, safe, vibrant community loaded with culture
Any comments, pointers, apartment suggestions, cost estimates etc would be helpful – Thanks in advance
My 1st Pointer would be to Don't Do it!!! LOL! If you are serious about moving I would look at Burlington County instead of Mercer County. Burlington Township/ Bordentown/Mt. Holly/ Lumberton area is about a 1/2 hour comute from Princeton and houses are about half the price. Hope this helps.
